Citizen Participation Organization #1 – Cedar Mill/Cedar Hills PO Box 91582 Portland, OR 97291-0582 – www.CPO1Friends.org City of Beaverton, Development Services Division 14 April 2006 Attention: John Osterberg PO Box 4755 Beaverton, OR 97076-4755 Regarding: TOWN SQUARE TOO (WAL MART) (DR2005-0068 / TP2005-0017 / LO 2005-0003) To Board of Design Review: CPO 1 serves the communities of Cedar Mill and Cedar Hills, north of the City of Beaverton, in unincorporated Washington County. Before Beaverton annexed various sections of the Peterkort property in February 2005, CPO 1 included that site within its boundaries. Since no procedure has been conducted to afford citizens within that area an alternative citizen participation system (i.e. no functional NAC, and no discussion with CPO 1) we assume that CPO 1 remains the citizen body with standing in this land use issue. At our April 4, 2006 meeting, the following concerns were expressed by the membership and were approved for inclusion in this letter by a vote of 23 to 0 with 2 abstentions. |
