Bill O'Brien, Laural Engeman and Bob Porter met at 10:00 AM on Sunday, January 31, 2010 at the tennis courts next to the Cedar Mill Grade School for the hike we scheduled at the last CPO-1 Connections Meeting.

We walked the Brady Trail from Cedar Mill Park to NW 107th and then headed north along NW 107th Ave to the trail that goes down to Cedar Mill Creek and Jordan Park. We scrambled through the underbrush along Cedar Mill Creek west until we came to the wood beam bridge across the creek. We backtracked to the east until we pasted the trail to 107th and kept going east along the creek until we reached NW Royal Rose Court and NW 102nd Ave.

The  weather was perfect for the hike. We did not get rained on, but we got wet and muddy from scrambling through the underbrush. Adding a trail along Cedar Mill Creek in this area will be a great addition to our neighborhood. I think it would best to develop the trail as a nature trail and not as a bike path.
